GET TO KNOW ME!

Who am I?

Hello! My name is Megan. Welcome to my pink-hearted medical corner.

I completed my medical degree a year ago, and I’m currently enrolled in my medical internship. Yes, that internship where the days seem eternal, the shifts endless, but where you also begin to see the fun and genuine human aspect of this line of work.

This blog was not born from a perfect story. It began as a result of a mishap: I failed the test required to begin the internship. And even though I was initially ashamed to admit it, I realised that mistakes can lead to unexpected opportunities and that failing does not define you. I stumbled upon the story of a girl who used her blog to pay for her college tuition while I was looking for jobs to help at home. I thought, if she could do it while attending college, why not me? That’s how this project started, with the desire to help, share what I know, and grow myself in the process.

Here, I share study tips, advice for your clinical rotations, time-saving techniques to help you ace the midterms, and most importantly, personal experiences from a graduated medical student.

CURIOUS FACTs about me

I don’t like coffee (I know, I’m an unusual doctor) and would much rather have hot chocolate. If you see me around the hospital, I’m the one wearing ALL pink—my bag, stethoscope, clipboard, scrubs, and lunchbox—and I love reading and watching anime (Naruto is my spiritual sensei). This isn’t just a coincidence; it’s emotional branding.
